Days after St. Johns County commissioners debated the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office’s use of Flock cameras, the agency highlighted what it called a license plate reader “success story” involving the capture of a wanted felon.
The dramatic episode began shortly before 3 p.m. Thursday when a license-plate reader detected a vehicle registered to David Kegley near County Road 210 and Beachwalk, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
